Local dentist Brandon Taylor and his wife Kim are excited to launch a new business venture: Complete Dentistry and Implants. Taylor said they aim to revolutionize local dental care by offering comprehensive services under one roof, minimizing the need for referrals.
Taylor is a Navy veteran with nearly two decades of experience and has always aspired to open a practice where patients can receive everything from routine cleanings to advanced procedures such as implants and root canals in one location.
“Our goal was to create a dental home where people are treated the way we would want our family to be treated,” Taylor said. “We want to make patients comfortable and provide continuity of care.”
Located at 3333 Frederica Street, Suite 1, Complete Dentistry and Implants officially opened its doors on September 23. The practice emphasizes patient comfort, featuring calming beach-themed décor, televisions in every room, and soothing music.
Taylor obtained his undergraduate degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College before attending dental school at the University of Louisville, where he graduated in 2006. He then spent 4 years in the Navy, where he began performing advanced procedures. After that, he operated a nonprofit dental clinic for 10 years and worked in corporate dentistry for 3 years before launching his own practice.
The office spans 3,750 square feet, and he said it was designed with future growth in mind.
“We’ve prepared for multiple providers as our family motto is ‘dentistry is our ministry,’” Taylor said.
His son, Luke, is eager to follow in his footsteps and has already secured a spot at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Complete Dentistry and Implants is also committed to giving back to the community. Taylor has previously provided free dental services to veterans and plans to continue similar charitable efforts as the practice grows.
The office currently accepts most insurances, including Medicaid, although Taylor noted that the demand for Medicaid services is overwhelming. Additionally, the practice will open an in-house denture lab in February, offering same-day dentures and partials. He said the innovative service is not widely available in the area.
“We’re really excited about being able to offer these services to the community,” Taylor said. “It’s been a long time coming, and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the people of Owensboro.”
