Competing against South Warren, Greenwood, Warren Central, and Warren East, Trinity’s wrestling program showed some promising results. They fell to South Warren 53-18 and Greenwood 53-24, but beat Warren Central in a tiebreaker and took down Warren East 30-6. Tristan Ward, John Hamilton, Owen Hamilton, and Will Kuder each went 3-1 on the night.
“The kids fought hard and will get better as they gain experience,” Trinity head coach Curtis Martinson said. “We are really young. The first real matches are behind them now. Time they can leave the butterflies behind and get to work on what needs to be done.”
