Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen to bring high-energy bluegrass to Owensboro on May 8

Grammy-nominated Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen is coming to Owensboro on May 8. Blending bluegrass tradition with influences from country, jazz, blues, southern rock, and soul, the band offers a dynamic, high-energy stage presence.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased here.

The band has twice been named International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Instrumental Group of the Year and Solivan has earned multiple nominations across categories such as Male Vocalist of the Year, Mandolin Player of the Year, and Banjo Player of the Year. Their last two albums were both nominated for Best Bluegrass Album at the Grammy Awards.

The band has commanded some of the most prestigious stages in the world, from the Grand Ole Opry to major international festivals in Europe, South America, and Australia. They have also performed at renowned bluegrass festivals such as Telluride, MerleFest, Grey Fox, RockyGrass, DelFest, Strawberry Music Festival, Pickin’ in the Pines, and ROMP.
