Trailing 8-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Lady Panthers cut the lead to one but were unable to complete the comeback, losing to Henderson County 8-7. Annie Newman went 3-4 with four RBIs, while Danielle Beckwith went 1-3 with an RBI. Story Hume started in the circle, allowing six earned runs over four innings, while Sophia Cain and Kamryn Timmons both pitched in relief.
Trinity (Whitesville) 8, Butler County 3
Kendall Howard went 2-4 with four RBIs in the Lady Raiders’ 8-3 win over Butler County. Aubree Millay, Emersyn Beyke, Sophie Hatfield, and Sarah Payne all drove in runs, while Madison McDaniel went 1-3. Hatfield started in the circle, allowing two earned runs over seven innings, striking out seven.
