When Dr. Meagan Aull opened Owensboro Dental Studio in December 2024, it marked not only a milestone for her business, but a full-circle moment for a lifelong member of the community committed to caring for her hometown.
Born and raised in Owensboro, Aull returned home after earning her degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2016. She first opened a shared practice in 2017 with mentor Dr. Amy Carrico, and by 2024, the practice had grown beyond its capacity. That growth led Aull to take a leap of faith and establish her own independent office at 2868 Farrell Crescent.
“This city has always been home,” Aull said. “It’s incredibly rewarding to bring the knowledge and skills I gained back to the place where it all began and use them to serve the people who have supported me throughout my life.”
Owensboro Dental Studio offers a full range of general dentistry services, from preventive care to cosmetic and restorative procedures. The practice uses digital X-rays and panoramic imaging for precise diagnostics, and provides everything from cleanings and fillings to veneers, implants, and smile makeovers.
“My team is highly trained to provide exceptional customer service,” Aull said. “We want every patient to feel known, supported, and comfortable. That’s why every treatment room is a private suite — to give people a space where they feel at ease, especially when discussing personal or sensitive concerns.”
For Aull, dentistry has always been a mix of science and artistry — a field where she can work with her hands while helping others.
“I’ve always loved being able to relieve pain, especially something like a toothache, which can be so intense,” she said. “But it’s more than that. Whether it’s giving someone the confidence to smile again or creating life-changing results through dental care, it’s incredibly fulfilling.”
Outside the office, Aull is supported by her husband – a dental professional with Adams and Whitt Periodontics – and her close-knit family. She credits them with helping her reach this new chapter in her career.
“Our mission is to do dentistry differently,” she said. “With compassion, transparency, and a personalized touch.”
