McLean County beat Daviess County, while Apollo won on the road. In other action, Owensboro Catholic lost at home.

McLean County 7, Daviess County 1

Layden Bozarth threw a complete game, allowing one earned run over seven innings to power the Cougars past Daviess County 7-1. Connor Mitchuson went 2-4 with two RBIs, while Bozarth, Houston Whitaker, Jax Lee, and Brooks Lynam all drove in runs.

For the Panthers, Brett Poole drove in the team’s lone run, while Sean Page and Logan Mewes both had hits. Nolan Johnson allowed two runs over four innings, while Mewes, Cameron Rickard, and Noah Ranburger all pitched out of the bullpen.

Apollo 6, Bowling Green 5

Despite allowing five runs in the bottom of the sixth, Apollo held off Bowling Green 6-5. Ryleigh Logan and Ty Lillpop both had a pair of hits, while Grayson Smith, Jagger Pate, and Garrett Lanham all drove in runs. Carter Kimmel started on the mound, throwing three shutout innings. Grayson Smith and Logan both pitched in relief, combining for three strikeouts.

Breckinridge County 4, Owensboro Catholic 3

Leading 3-1 entering the seventh, the Aces were unable to close it out, losing to Breckinridge County 4-3. Mason Moser and Brady Atwell both drove in runs, while Chris Burns, Alex Hood, and Jaxson White all had hits. Myles Grant was the starting pitcher, allowing one earned run over four innings. Chase Keller, Lucas Patton, and Gentry Atwell all pitched in relief.
