Earlier this week, the GO Junior Golf Series held its most recent tournament, this time at the Hillcrest Golf Course. In the 3-hole division, Owensboro’s Easton Fogle (10) and Dixon Savannah Hudson (21) won the boys’ and girls’ 8-under age group. Over in the 6-hole division, Hawesville Greyson Phillips (29) and Hardinsburg Vivian Henning (31) won for the boys and girls 9-10 age group.
In the 9-hole division, Owensboro’s Ayla Roberts shot a 53 to win for the girls 11-12 age group, while Leitchfield Mason Day (38) won on the boys side. In the 13-15 age group, Philpot’s Mason Shively shot a 37 to win, including an eagle on a par four on the seventh hole. For the girls’, Owensboro’s Molly Fiorella (49) narrowly held off Hampton Gaddis, beating her by one stroke.
In the 18-hole division, Owensboro Andrew Powell (44) won a playoff against Colton Manley to win the boys 13-15 Championship, while Owensboro’s Luke Estes shot a 37 to win the boys 16-18 Championship.
