The All Star Monster Truck Tour is roaring back into Owensboro this weekend for its fourth annual appearance at Windy Hollow Speedway, bringing new trucks, bigger jumps, and family-friendly entertainment.

The two-night event includes a pre-show party from 5-6:30 p.m. each evening, with the main show running from 7 to approximately 8:45 p.m. The Speedway is located just outside Owensboro at 4731 Windy Hollow Road.

“This is our fourth annual event at Windy Hollow Speedway,” said Bryan Wagner, president of All Star Monster Trucks. “Every year, we bring a brand-new lineup of trucks and change up the track design. It’s always a completely new show.”

This year’s lineup includes a unique variety of monster trucks designed to stand out both in look and performance. Fans will see Dirt Crew, a monster dump truck; Block Head, a Lego-inspired design; Maximus, a gladiator-themed truck; and Dozer, the world’s only bulldozer monster truck.

The fan-focused pre-show party allows attendees to meet the drivers, get autographs, and take up-close photos with the trucks. The pre-show also features bounce houses, tailgate-style games, and other activities for families.

“We also offer monster truck rides throughout the entire event,” Wagner said. “That’s available to any age group — kids and adults alike can ride on a real monster truck. It’s one of the most popular parts of the night.”

This year’s event benefits from recent renovations to the Speedway’s infield, allowing for more space and new obstacle features.

“We’re able to do a lot more this year because of improvements to the track,” Wagner said. “It allows for bigger jumps and more elaborate designs that take the whole experience up a notch.”

While the All Star Monster Truck Tour travels across the U.S. — from Maine to California to Alaska — Wagner said Owensboro is one of their favorite stops.

“The fans in Owensboro, Kentucky, are some of our favorites,” he said. “They’re so passionate and caring, and it really pushes our drivers to put on the best show possible.”

Tickets are available online at allstarmonster.com/owensboro. Adult ticket prices increase as the event nears, while children’s tickets remain $10 whether purchased online or at the gate.

Organizers stress that the show is a rain-or-shine event.

“Unlike other events that have had to cancel due to weather, that won’t be a factor for us,” Wagner said. “Our show will go on, regardless of the ground conditions.”
