There are plenty of events for families this Halloween season throughout the community. Here’s a list of some of the activities we know about that are planned through the end of the month.

Saturday, October 18
- Light the Night at Crosspointe Baptist
5–6 p.m. at 550 Worthington Road
Dress up in costumes, enjoy decorated stations, and grab some treats. - Boo Fest at Sacred Heart Tattoo Co.
12–7 p.m. at 3332 Villa Point #109
$50 flash tattoos, temporary tattoos for kids, costume contest, and local artists/vendors. - Ghostly Productions & TD’s Tuff Decisions Halloween Bash
All day at Ghostly Productions, 203 West 4th Street, and TD’s Tuff Decisions, 2201 Frederica Street
Shop in costume for 10% off, hunt for Haunted Trail tickets hidden in both shops, and enjoy a horror movie marathon. Prizes for best dressed. - Bulls and Ghouls Rodeo
Doors open 6 p.m., event at 7 p.m. at Owensboro Sportscenter, 1215 Hickman Drive
A night of spooky fun and bull riding entertainment.
Sunday, October 19

Hayride, vendors, car show, horses, bounce house, and trunk-or-treat.
Tuesday, October 21
- Halloween Hullabaloo at Yellow Creek Park
5–9 p.m. at 5710 KY 144, hosted by Daviess County Fiscal Court
A non-trick-or-treat event with free pumpkins, decorating contests, bounce houses, petting zoo, food vendors, and local nonprofit games. - Fall Celebration with Pleasant Valley Community Church
5:30–8 p.m. at Yellow Creek Park, 5710 KY 144
Help kids decorate pumpkins, hand out treats, and enjoy a community fall celebration.
Friday, October 24
- Art Lab Owensboro GLOW K.N.O.W. Night
5:30–8 p.m. at 1722 Sweeney Street
Drop-off event for kids featuring glow-in-the-dark art projects, snacks, and black-light fun. - Spirit Spa & Precision Studios 922 Boo Bash
5–7 p.m. at 922 Triplett Street
Candy, bounce house, and food vendors. - Dee’s Diner Trunk or Treat
4–7 p.m. at 1362 East 4th Street
Family-friendly trunk-or-treat with decorated cars and candy. - Musick Studios Halloween Show: “Deadlight Drive-In”

Shop local and enjoy treats from vendors. - Breaking the Cycle Trunk-or-Treat
4–6 p.m. at 1003 Omega Street
Haunted house ($1), candy, contests for best trunk and costume. - Buck Creek Baptist Fall Festival

Candy, food, and games for families. - Teeny Tiny Trick-or-Treat Party at Little Explorers’ Play Café

There will be trunk-or-treat, hayrides, and a free hotdog meal for all. - Trunk-or-treat at Meg’s Trim and Stay

Trunk-or-treating starts at 11, with a pet parade at 12:30 plus face painting, adoptable pets, food truck, a pet boarding raffle, and more.

Games, bowling, and candy from local businesses. - Legends Spooky 6K Trail Race
3 p.m. at Ben Hawes Park, 400 Booth Field Road
Run through the woods in costume; prizes for top 3 finishers. - The Haunting of Mystical Moon Market
11 a.m.–5 p.m. at Owensboro Convention Center, 501 West 2nd Street
$5 admission (12 & under free). Oddities, crystals, psychic readers, and a costume contest. - Fast Lane Auto Repair Shop Trunk-or-Treat
2-5 p.m. at 2121 Triplett Street - Trail of Trunks at Abundant Life Church

Over 30 trunks, games, prizes, food, and snacks. Free to all.

5–7 p.m. at 3900 Frederica Street
Trunk-or-treat with local vendors. - Owensboro Athletic Club – 1st Annual ClubOne Trunk-or-Treat

Family-friendly trunk-or-treat with decorated vehicles. - Bees Knees Bakery Kids Cookie Decorating Class

The event has been moved indoors to a decorated indoor space, with candy and plenty of festive activities.
Thursday, October 30
- City of Owensboro Trail of Treats
5:30–8 p.m. on 2nd Street and Veterans Boulevard
Over 90 booths from local businesses offering candy, costumes, and fun. - Haley McGinnis Funeral Home Trunk or Treat
5–6:30 p.m. at 519 Locust Street
Candy, vendors, and spooky beats. - The Party Space Place Mini Halloween Photo Shoots

15-minute sessions for $25.
Friday, October 31
- Legion Park Candy Crawl
5–7 p.m. at Legion Park, 3047 Legion Park Drive
Local businesses and organizations line the walking path with candy stations. - Northwest Neighborhood Alliance Trunk-or-Treat
5:30–7 p.m. at H.L. Neblett Community Center, 801 West 5th Street)
Free candy, hot dogs, photo booth, and community fun. - T&T Vendors Mall Candy for Kids
4-6 p.m. at 601 Commerce Drive
