According to a release from the sheriff’s office, detectives identified two persons of interest while following up on several leads throughout the morning and tracked their movements from Knottsville to La Grange, Kentucky. The DCSO said it contacted the Oldham County Sheriff’s Office, Oldham County Police Department, and the La Grange Police Department to share information and request assistance with the investigation.
Authorities in Oldham County located the suspect vehicle parked and unoccupied in a neighborhood in La Grange around 8 a.m. CST, according to the release. Two DCSO detectives and four deputies traveled to Oldham County to continue the investigation and assist with recovering evidence.
