Ayden Farrow is facing new charges of murder (complicity) and second-degree assault (complicity) in connection with the shooting, and investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle that may have been near the scene.

The 19-year-old killed in a Saturday morning shooting in the Knottsville area has been identified, and authorities say the suspect wanted for murder in the case turned himself in to police.
According to the Daviess County Coroner’s Office, the victim was Brody Lanham, 19, of Knottsville. Authorities said he died after being transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. A juvenile who was also struck by gunfire suffered several gunshot wounds but has since been treated and released from the hospital.
The investigation began early Saturday morning when authorities responded to a shooting reported at approximately 1 a.m. near KY 144 and St. Lawrence Road, where a large field party had been taking place.
Investigators later determined two men from Oldham County had traveled to the gathering after being invited by people attending the party. Authorities previously said an altercation occurred before a firearm was introduced into the situation.
Ayden Louis Farrow, 19, of La Grange, was arrested Saturday and charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension and tampering with physical evidence.
According to DCSO, James Carr, 20, surrendered Sunday night to Florence Police in Boone County. Carr was wanted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office on charges of murder, second-degree assault, and tampering with physical evidence related to the shooting.
DCSO detectives traveled to Boone County early Monday to interview Carr and transport him back to Daviess County, where he will be lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
Investigators also spent part of the day in Oldham County conducting follow-up investigative work and attended Lanham’s autopsy in Jefferson County, according to DCSO.
Officials said the investigation remains active, though detectives do not currently believe any additional suspects are involved. Authorities said investigators will continue conducting interviews, reviewing video evidence, and gathering information from the public as the case moves toward the prosecution phase.
