DCSO releases wanted poster for suspect in Knottsville shooting

Ayden Farrow is facing new charges of murder (complicity) and second-degree assault (complicity) in connection with the shooting, and investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle that may have been near the scene.

The 19-year-old who was killed has been identified, and authorities say the suspect wanted for murder in the case turned himself in to police.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has released a wanted poster for a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting early Saturday morning in the Knottsville area. One person has already been arrested.

According to DCSO, James Semaj Carr, 20, of Crestwood, is wanted on charges of murder, second-degree assault, and tampering with physical evidence.

Authorities said Carr should not be approached and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Carr’s location is asked to contact the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office at 270-685-8444, Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch at 270-687-8888, or call 911.

Meanwhile, Ayden Louis Farrow, 19, of La Grange, was arrested after being located during a traffic stop in La Grange while investigators were conducting surveillance on a residence. Farrow was transported to Owensboro and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on charges of first-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension and tampering with physical evidence. Authorities said he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
