McLean County and Owensboro Catholic both won, while Apollo and Hancock County both lost.
Bowling Green 5, Apollo 4
Leading 3-2, Apollo was unable to close it out, falling to Bowling Green 5-4. Ryleigh Logan went 1-2 with two RBIs, Isaac James and Gunnar Hendricks both drove in runs, and Jagger Pate went 1-3. Jackson Carder started on the mound, allowing four runs over four innings, while Ty Lillpop pitched three innings in relief.
Webster County 7, Hancock County 2
Jacob Shultz went 3-3 as the Hornets fell to Webster County 7-2. Dylan Mucker went 2-3 with a pair of RBIs, Chance Lyday went 2-3, and Porter Hay, Tripp Hager, and Kolby Keown all had hits. Alex Rhue started on the mound, giving up two unearned runs, while Jack Roberts, Lyday, and Shultz all pitched in relief.
McLean County 12, Lyon County 0
The Cougars scored four runs in the top of the first and never looked back, beating Lyon County 12-0. Will Gatton went 2-4 with three RBIs, Jayden Taylor and Jaelin Groves both drove in a pair of runs, and Layden Bozarth went 1-3. Bozarth threw five shutout innings, striking out six, while Taylor closed it out.
Owensboro Catholic 10, Perry County Central 0
Barrett Evans went 3-4 and drove in three runs to power the Aces past Perry County Central 10-0. Jaxson White and Karson White both drove in a pair of runs, while Mason Moser went 1-3 with two RBIs. Lane Hundley started on the mound, throwing three shutout innings, striking out five, while Evans threw two shutout innings in relief.
