The E-Gals shutout Hancock County in an important 3rd Region game, while Daviess County cruised past Jasper, IN. In other action, Owensboro, Owensboro Catholic, and Trinity (Whitesville) all lost.

Leading 1-0 entering the sixth, the E-Gals added four runs highlighted by Hannah Holder’s two-run homer,, as they beat Hancock County 5-0. Tyler Hall went 2-3, Annsley Hall and Emersyn Bullington both drove in runs, and Arianna Ramriez went 1-3. Mollie Julian threw a complete game in the circle, striking out six over seven shutout innings.
For the Lady Hornets, Aubree Mosby, Audrey Carnes, and Ryleigh French combined for the team’s three hits. Bella Bryant started in the circle, allowing three earned runs over five innings, while Gracie Gaynor pitched in relief.
Daviess County 10, Jasper, IN 2
Callie Smith went 1-4 with a homer and twbo RBIs as the Lady Panthers beat Jasper 10-2. Annie Newman went 4-5 with four RBIs, while Molly Hancock went 2-5 with two RBIs. Sophia Cain threw a complete game in the circle, giving up two unearned runs over seven innings, striking out three.
Edmonson County 10, Owensboro 7
Trailing 10-3 entering the top of the seventh, the Lady Devils scored four runs, but were unable to complete the comeback, falling 10-7. Ayrish Barksdale went 2-4 with an RBI, Ella Hall went 3-4 with four RBIs, and Paislee Hodge drove in a pair of runs. Hodge threw a complete game on the mound, allowing nine runs over six innings, striking out two.
Butler County 13, Owensboro Catholic 12
Leading 12-6 entering the bottom of the seventh, the Lady Aces were unable to close it out, falling to Butler County 13-12. Addilyn Simmons and Carley Brey both homered, while Ava Mudd went 2-3 with three RBIs. Mudd started in the circle, allowing four earned runs over five innings, while Addalynn Mayfield pitched in relief.
Muhlenberg County 2, Trinity (Whitesville) 0
In a pitchers duel between the Lady Raiders and Muhlenberg County, Trinity (Whitesville) fell just short, losing 2-0. Ella Morris thew a complete game in the circle, allowing two runs over six innings, striking out nine. At the plate, Michaela Knight went 2-3, while Emersyn Beyke finished 1-3.
