Daviess County and Apollo both cruised to big wins, while Hancock County dropped a heartbreaker on the road. In other action earlier this week, the Lady Raiders shutout McLean County 15-0.

Apollo 13, Jasper 3

Tyler Hall went 1-3 with a home run and three RBIs as the E-Gals cruised past Jasper 13-3. Keelan Wettstain went 3-3 with five RBIs, and Mollie Julian drove in a pair of runs. Hannah Holder threw a complete game in the circle, allowing two earned runs over five innings.

Daviess County 15, Ohio County 0

Brylyn Boswell and Lilah Morris both homered and combined for seven RBIs as the Lady Panthers shutout Ohio County 15-0. Kylie Clark went 3-4, Storey Hume finished 1-3 with two RBIs, and Annie Newman went 2-4. Hume threw four shutout innings in the circle, allowing one hit, while Sadie Beauchamp closed it out.

Perry Central 5, Hancock County 4

Tied 4-4, the Lady Hornets allowed a run in the bottom of the fourth as they lost to Perry Central 5-4. Audrey Carnes went 2-4 with an RBI, while Gracie Gaynor, Jordyn Waltrip, and Bella Bryant all drove in runs. Bryant started in the circle, allowing three earned runs over seven innings, while Gaynor pitched in relief.

Trinity (Whitesville) 15, McLean County 0 (4/28)

Leading 3-0 entering the bottom of the third, the Lady Raiders’ offense exploded to the tune of 12 runs as they beat McLean County 15-0 on Tuesday. Emersyn Beyke finished 2-3 with four RBIs, while Sadie Morris and Lucy Hallmark combined for two hits and six RBIs. Ella Morris threw three perfect innings in the circle, striking out all nine batters she faced.
