Hancock County swept their doubleheader, while Apollo and McLean County both went 1-1 on the day. In other action, Trinity (Whitesville) was shutout on the road.

Apollo split doubleheader

Competing in the 2026 Spartan Showcase, the E-Gals lost to Henderson County 6-0, but walked off Marshall County 9-8. In their win over Marshall County, Tyler Hall went 1-2 with a homer and four RBIs, Arianna Ramirez finished 3-4 with an RBI, and Liza Page went 2-4 with two RBIs. Mollie Julian struck out six and allowed five earned runs over five innings, while Hannah Holder pitched two innings in relief.

Hancock County sweeps doubleheader

Competing in Daviess County’s Team Lauren Tournament, the Lady Hornets finished the day undefeated after beating Warren East 11-3 and Heritage Hills 6-4. Against Heritage Hills, the Lady Hornets overcame a 2-0 deficit, scoring five runs in the bottom of the fifth. Gracie Gaynor drove in a pair of runs, and Ava Riggs and Aubree Mosby both had two hits. Gaynor struck out five over seven innings, allowing one earned run.

McLean County split doubleheader

Competing in the Abe Classic, the Lady Cougars fell to Hart County 9-0, but walked off John Hardin 3-2. Kylie Woodburn went 1-2 with two RBIs, and Adalynn Estes finished 1-2 with an RBI. Maci Geel threw a complete game in the circle, striking out three and allowing one earned run over five innings.

Franklin Simposn 5, Trinity (Whitesville) 0

The Lady Raiders allowed three runs in the bottom of the fifth and never fully recovered, losing to Franklin Simpson 5-0. Ella Morris struck out nine and allowed three earned runs over 4 1/3 innings, and Michaela Knight pitched in relief.
