The Center of Owensboro-Daviess County has launched its “Home for Hope” campaign, an initiative aimed at building a permanent facility to expand services and support for children and families in the community.

According to organization leaders, the campaign is designed to help create a long-term home for programs focused on family support, supervised visitation, parenting and infant care education, child and family programming, and partnerships with other community organizations.

“This campaign is about far more than constructing a building,” Board Chair Abby Shelton said. “It is about creating a lasting place of hope for families in our community — a place where support, healing, education, and opportunity come together under one roof.”

The Center said the need for a permanent facility has grown as demand for services continues to increase.

The future building would provide expanded space for programs and services intended to strengthen family stability and improve outcomes for children throughout Owensboro-Daviess County.

“Every child deserves safety, stability, and the opportunity to succeed, and every family deserves support during difficult moments,” Executive Director Erica Wade said. “This permanent home will allow us to deepen our impact and serve more families with dignity, care, and hope.”

The campaign officially launched with the release of a promotional video outlining the vision for the project and encouraging community support.

More information about the campaign is available at The Center’s website.
