Local Christian artist and songwriter George.Rose will bring “The Anointed Experience” back to Owensboro for the third time on Aug. 15. The evening will feature local food trucks, a live DJ, music, games before the show, and a headlining performance by George.Rose. Christian artist Don Ready, of Madisonville, will open the event.

The event will be held from 5:30-10 p.m. at Jesus House Owensboro, located at 3830 KY 54.

“We will have dancing, we will have worship, and it’s geared to all ages from kids to adults,” Rose said. “It will be a night of partying with Jesus.”

Rose said he is excited to return to Owensboro after taking a year off from hosting the event and hopes the evening will bring people together through music, fellowship, and faith.

“I am really excited to connect with Owensboro again with my music after taking a year off from this event,” Rose said. “The music has been doing great, and people know the songs.”

Rose said his passion for performing comes from creating opportunities for people to experience the Gospel outside of a traditional church setting.

“I’m excited to use this influence God’s given me — whether you know me as an artist, a DJ, a dancer — the most important thing is to give people the opportunity to meet Jesus outside the traditional church setting,” he said.

General admission tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available and include VIP parking, a pre-show dance lesson, autographs, and a gift.

“We try to make this affordable because the economy has been experiencing hard times,” Rose said. “We dropped the general admission price down to $15 for adults and $10 for kids this year.”

Parking will be available at the former Party City parking lot, with shuttle service provided to and from the venue.

More information and tickets are available through Eventbrite.
