The annual fundraiser for Dream Riders of Kentucky will return later this month with a casino-themed evening designed to support equine-assisted therapy programs for children and adults with disabilities across the region.

The Mane Event: Double Down for Dreams Casino Night is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at the Grand Stable in Philpot. The event, presented by Toyotetsu Mid America LLC, will feature casino-style gaming, food, drinks, auctions and raffles, with proceeds benefiting Dream Riders of Kentucky’s therapeutic riding programs.

Guests will be able to play blackjack, roulette, craps and poker using “Dream Dollars” for the chance to win prizes. The evening will also include heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Brew Bridge, a complimentary bar courtesy of Clark Distributing and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Val-U Liquors Poker Lounge, pony photo opportunities and a live painting by local artist Aaron Kizer that will be auctioned during the event. Organizers said attendees will also hear from participants whose lives have been impacted through the nonprofit’s equine-assisted therapy programs.

Denny Miles, board chair of Dream Riders of Kentucky, said the fundraiser is about more than entertainment.

“This event is about more than a fun night out — it’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and changing lives through the healing power of horses,” Miles said.

He said community support helps the organization continue providing individualized instruction and therapeutic opportunities for riders throughout the area.

“Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps ensure that our riders continue to receive the support and individualized instruction they deserve,” Miles said.

A representative from presenting sponsor Toyotetsu Mid America LLC said supporting Dream Riders aligns with the company’s commitment to the community.

“At TTMA, giving back to our community is an important part of who we are,” the representative said. “Through volunteer service and financial support, we are proud to partner with Dream Riders of Kentucky and contribute to the meaningful work they do for children and families in our community.”

Tickets are $100 and include $20,000 in Dream Dollars for casino games. Organizers said a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain available.

The event begins at 6 p.m. July 25 at the Grand Stable, 7735 Kentucky 144 in Philpot.

Dream Riders of Kentucky is a nonprofit organization that provides equine-assisted activities and therapies for children and adults with physical, cognitive and intellectual disabilities throughout Daviess County and the surrounding region.
