All customers served by Whitesville Water Works are under a boil water advisory until further notice, according to city officials.
The advisory applies to everyone who receives water through the Whitesville Water Works system, not just residents within the Whitesville city limits, officials said.
Customers are advised to boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or preparing food until the advisory is lifted.
City officials said the advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
