LADY PANTHERS EDGED IN 2OT
After battling back and forcing a pair of extra periods, Daviess County ultimately fell 63-57 in double overtime at Ohio County.
The Lady Panthers (6-7) held a 9-5 advantage after the first quarter but fell behind 20-12 by halftime. Tied 46-all after regulation, each team scored four points in the first overtime.
Brooklyn Daugherty and Adylan Ayer each each finished with 19 points to lead all scorers. Also scoring for DC were Katie Mewes (12), Druree Glenn (4) and Shea Mason (3).
LADY DEVILS COME UP SHORT ON ROAD
The Lady Devils (4-9) stayed tight through the first quarter but couldn’t keep up in a 57-40 loss at Grayson County. A 3-point deficit was stretched to 11 by halftime, and OHS wasn’t able to close the gap.
Brooklyn Williams finished with a team-high 11 points for the Lady Devils, who also got scoring from Nia Gonzo (9), Tamia Smith (7), A’Lyrica Hughes (7), Lyric Lawrence (4) and Kaylyn Sowders (2).
