• Late rally not enough for Panthers
• Eagles fall to Webster County
LATE RALLY NOT ENOUGH FOR PANTHERS
Daviess County (5-11) had a strong fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to overcome an early deficit in a 63-55 loss at Breckinridge County. The Panthers trailed by 17 after the third period, though they finished with a 26-point fourth quarter.
Camron Johnson finished with 16 points to lead DC in scoring. Ryan Thomson, Joe Humphreys and Hunter Gibson each added 11 points, while Bo Stratton and Logan Hillard had three points each. Thomson also had team highs with nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.
EAGLES FALL TO WEBSTER COUNTY
Apollo (3-14) couldn’t keep up in a home loss, falling 70-50 to Webster County. Harrison Bowman led the Eagles team with 18 points.
Also scoring for Apollo were Malik Wilson (9), Landon Hamilton (8), Ryan Ash (7), Dan St. Claire (5) and Cameron Frantz (3).
