The remaining road to the Sweet 16 in Lexington came into view Saturday morning after draws were held for the girls’ and boys’ 3rd Region Tournaments presented by Owensboro Health.
With the district tournaments in the rearview mirror, there’s officially no more room for error. Get three wins, and earn a trip to state. One loss, and the season is over.
The girls kick things off with quarterfinal matchups Monday and Tuesday. They’ll play both semifinals on Friday, followed by a championship on Sunday.
The boys will play their quarterfinals Wednesday and Thursday, with the semifinals on Saturday and the championship set for the following Tuesday.
Reserved tickets are $8 with assigned seating for both the event-level blue chair-backs as well as the upper-level wooden chair-backs. General admission tickets are $6 with first-come, first-serve seating in the upper-level bleachers.
