In an effort to provide financial assistance to Kentuckians whose employment has been affected by COVID-19, Gov. Andy Beshear announced the creation of a new fundraising platform called the Team Kentucky Fund.

Tax-deductible donations may be made here in any amount to the fund, which was established in collaboration with the Kentucky Public Protection Cabinet.

“The loss of income can be difficult. It makes us worry about our utility bills and how we’re going to put food on the table,” Beshear said in his Monday press conference. “We know realistically we will not be able to provide for every Kentuckian that has lost, but we can make a difference in people’s lives in ways that will be incredibly meaningful to each and every one of those people.”
