UPDATE: The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a hit-and-run fatality collision with a pedestrian that occurred Thursday night in the 4900 block of KY 56.

The roadway on KY 56 in west Daviess County is temporarily shut down between KY 81 and KY 279.
Airport Sorgho Fire Department posted on Facebook Thursday night that the area between Worthington Road and Essex Drive would be closed for an extended duration due to an accident investigation.
