Owensboro Times is on the scene of an incident on Rudy Alley, where a man is barricaded in his home. Officers with Owensboro Police Department have been at the scene since before 7 p.m.
Streets in the immediate area are currently blocked off by police. Rudy Alley is on the west side of Owensboro near Greentree Apartments.
OPD were dispatched at 6:21 p.m. to a domestic disturbance when a female reported a male had a firearm pointed at her. The female is no longer in the residence.
Neighbors in the area reported that a reverse 911 call had been made to them warning them of the danger.
No suspect has been named at this time, but the individual is believed to have a weapon.
OPD’s Emergency Response Team is also on scene.
