The Daviess County Lady Panthers fell in the state quarterfinals a year ago to eventual state champion Greenwood but they’ll look to improve on that finish in 2020 as they sit at No. 8 in the first edition of the Maher Rankings.
DC was 21-4 last season after going undefeated in region (12-0) and district (8-0) play. The Panthers will also have a chance at revenge against Greenwood Sept. 24 at home.
Owensboro Catholic is the next 9th District team on the list as the Aces come in at No. 39. Owensboro (113) and Apollo (142) round out the district.
