A total of 41 more cases of COVID-19 and 23 recoveries from the virus were confirmed Tuesday for the Green River District. The numbers reflect a three-day reporting period.
Two cases previously reported for Hancock County are residents of Henderson County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (7), Henderson (18), Ohio (1), Union (15)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (6), Henderson (7), Ohio (6), Union (4)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 2,445
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 2,014 (83%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 16
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 193 (8%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 30
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 1,067 cases, 928 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 80 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
- Hancock County – 60 cases, 52 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 5 ever hospitalized
- Henderson County – 524 cases, 409 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 46 ever hospitalized, 4 deaths
- McLean County – 66 cases, 53 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 6 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Ohio County – 426 cases, 383 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 29 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Union County – 172 cases, 89 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 11 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Webster County – 130 cases, 100 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 16 ever hospitalized, 2 deaths

- Average age: 42
- Male: 47.8%
- Female: 52.2%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
