A total of 81 more cases of COVID-19 and 42 new recoveries were confirmed Tuesday for the Green River District. Five coronavirus-related deaths were also reported for Henderson County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (37), Hancock (4), Henderson (24), McLean (1), Ohio (5), Union (6), Webster (4)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (17), Henderson (11), Ohio (5), Union (7), Webster (2)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 3,756
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 2,937 (79%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 29
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 277 (8%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 45
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 1,548 cases, 1,266 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 106 ever hospitalized, 19 deaths
- Hancock County – 88 cases, 69 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 7 ever hospitalized
- Henderson County – 930 cases, 651 recovered, 10 current hospitalizations, 71 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths
- McLean County – 94 cases, 76 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 10 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Ohio County – 501 cases, 441 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 33 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Union County – 383 cases, 291 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 30 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
- Webster County – 212 cases, 143 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 20 ever hospitalized, 3 deaths
Demographics (not all demographic information is available because of incomplete reporting from a testing site):
- Age range: 1 month-100 years old
- Average age: 44
- Male: 45.8%
- Female: 54.2%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
