The Brescia women’s basketball team couldn’t keep up with Campbellsville on the road Wednesday as they fell to the Tigers.
Campbellsville cruised in the matchup, taking down the Bearcats 94-57.
The Tigers jumped out to a 29-13 lead after the first frame and led 59-26 at the break before Brescia found some footing in the second game.
Paige Vanzant led the Bearcats with 14 points while Cassidy Moss (13 point) and Courtney Peyton (11 points, 8 rebounds) also delivered solid performances for Brescia.
Sammy Rogers (24 points) and Savannah Gregory (23 points) led the Tigers in scoring.
Brescia (0-7) plays Saturday at home against Indiana University Kokomo.
