Kentucky Wesleyan College basketball has announced the following updates for the games scheduled Dec. 31-Jan. 4.
Thursday vs. Trevecca
The women’s game has been postponed. A new date will be announced when it is determined.
The men’s game remains at 4 p.m. as scheduled.
Due to Daviess County being in the “red zone”, spectators will not be permitted into The Owensboro Sportscenter. Fans are invited to cheer on the Panthers from the comfort and safety of their home by watching for free on the Great Midwest Digital Network.
Saturday vs. Walsh
The doubleheader remains as scheduled with the women tipping off at Noon followed by the men at 2:15 p.m. Due to Daviess County being in the “red zone”, spectators will not be permitted into The Owensboro Sportscenter. Fans are invited to cheer on the Panthers from the comfort and safety of their home by watching for free on the Great Midwest Digital Network.
Monday vs. Malone
The matinee match up remains as scheduled with the women starting at 1 p.m. and the men at approximately 3:15 p.m. A decision on spectators will be determined later this week. If spectators are not permitted, or do not feel comfortable attending the games, they are invited to watch for free on the Great Midwest Digital Network.
Great Midwest Digital Network
All five games this week will be broadcast for free on the Great Midwest Digital Network which can be accessed by clicking HERE. Additionally, the three men’s games will be aired on 102.7 The Game with Joel Utley.
The Kentucky Wesleyan College Department of Athletics and College administrators continue to work with local and state health authorities, and partners at Spectra Venue Management, to determine the safest return for spectators to The Owensboro Sportscenter.
