A total of 183 more cases of COVID-19 and 42 recoveries were announced Friday for the Green River District, including 105 cases and 20 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess (1) and Union (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (105), Hancock (8), Henderson (33), McLean (5), Ohio (10), Union (12), Webster (10)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (20), Henderson (6), McLean (3), Ohio (9), Union (2), Webster (2)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 17,767
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 13,356 (76%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 29
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 758 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 304
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 8,197 cases, 6,098 recovered, 14 current hospitalizations, 294 ever hospitalized, 137 deaths
- Hancock County – 692 cases, 499 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 21 ever hospitalized, 14 deaths
- Henderson County – 3,852 cases, 2,899 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 189 ever hospitalized, 56 deaths
- McLean County – 747 cases, 568 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 46 ever hospitalized, 25 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,110 cases, 1,605 recovered, 5 current hospitalizations, 104 ever hospitalized, 45 deaths
- Union County – 1,144 cases, 923 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 52 ever hospitalized, 11 deaths
- Webster County – 1,025 cases, 764 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 52 ever hospitalized, 16 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
