Muhlenberg County 82, Apollo 54
The Muhlenberg County Mustangs picked up their 3rd Region leading 10th win Tuesday as they took down Apollo at home.
Muhlenberg controlled the game in their 82-54 win over the Eagles as Apollo is now 2-9 on the year.
Landon Hamilton led Apollo with 16 points while Cameron Frantz added 14 points in the loss.
The Eagles play at home tonight against Trinity.
Logan County 45, Daviess County 42
The Daviess County Panthers were handed their third-straight loss Tuesday as they fell to Logan County in Russellville.
The Cougars narrowly took down the Panthers as DC has now lost six games by 10 points or less.
DC plays at home Friday against Apollo.
Owensboro 61, South Spencer 59
The Owensboro Red Devils grabbed their third win in three days Monday when they went across the border and took down South Spencer.
The Red Devils held on 61-59 as the team gave it their best effort in the closing minutes.
Owensboro improves to 5-4 on the year as they take on Evansville Central on the road Friday.
All “A” Classic: Clinton County 64, Owensboro Catholic 60
Clinton County went to the free-throw line 15 more times than Owensboro Catholic, which proved to be the difference for the Bulldogs as they advance to the second round of the All “A” Classic State Tournament.
The Aces battled back despite foul trouble plaguing them throughout the game but couldn’t complete the comeback in the 64-60 win for the Bulldogs.
Clinton County was 28-of-33 from the charity stripe while the Aces made the most of their 18 trip,s hitting 14 shots at the line.
The Aces led 29-24 at the half but Clinton County scored 40 points over the next two quarters to advance them in the tournament to take on Murray.
Brian Griffith finished with a game-high 32 points for the Aces while Ji Webb added 16 points, including eight in the fourth quarter.
The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for Catholic as they’ll look to start another run Friday when they host Muhlenberg County at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Ohio County 50, Daviess County 46
The Daviess County Lady Panthers dropped their fourth game in a row Monday when they narrowly fell to Ohio County.
The Lady Eagles edged DC 50-46 despite three Lady Panthers finishing in double figures.
Adylan Ayer led Daviess County with 15 points while long senior Brooklyn Daugherty (13 points) and Ella Payne (10 points) also finished in double digits.
The Lady Panthers hit the road Thursday as they take on University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville.
