Daviess County 6, Madisonville-North Hopkins 0
The Daviess County Panthers used a dominant performance from Greysee Whiteker in the circle to cruise to a 6-0 win over Madisonville-North Hopkins Friday at DCHS.
After a scoreless first, the Lady Panthers got on the board in the second then led 4-0 after three before adding runs in the next two frames to put the game away.
Whiteker went six innings and struck out nine while allowing just one hit.
Millie Roberts (1-2, 2 RBIs), Whiteker (2-4), 25 (1-4, R), Katie Mewes (RBI, R) and Kinsey Vergason (1-1, R) all had solid games at the plate for the Lady Panthers.
Daviess County plays two games today at Christian County as they’ll take on the Lady Colonels and Louisville Male.
Hancock County 14, Owensboro 1 (5 innings)

The Owensboro Lady Devils couldn’t keep up with Hancock County Friday as they fell to the Lady Hornets 14-1 at Shifley Park.
The loss is the eighth-straight for Owensboro on the season after they started the year 2-0 with wins over University Heights Academy and Trinity.
Owensboro hosts Ohio County on Monday as they try to snap their losing streak.
Trinity 15, Warren Central 0 (3 innings)
The Trinity Lady Raiders grabbed their second win over Warren Central this week when they drubbed the Lady Dragons 15-0 in three innings.
The Lady Raiders play at North Hardin today in a doubleheader.
Owensboro Catholic Classic
Owensboro Catholic 6, Villa Grove (Ill.) 2
Warren East 3, Owensboro Catholic 0

The Lady Aces started play in the Owensboro Catholic Classic Friday evening at Jack C. Fisher Park with OC going 1-1 on the night.
Catholic beat Villa Grove (Ill.) 6-2 in their opener but fell to 4th Region power Warren East 3-0 in their nightcap.
In their victory, Lexi Hatchett got the win in the circle as she went four innings and struck out five while allowing two earned runs in give hits.
Bailey Hamilton gave Catholic a boost at the plate with a home run, two RBIs and two runs. Lilli Grant (2-2, RBI, R) and Addison Tignor (2-3) also had a solid game at the plate with Graci Jennings adding two RBIs.
Against the Lady Raiders of Warren East, Hannah Carter and Tignor had the only hits for Catholic.
The Lady Aces wrap up their tournament at today against Green County.
Apollo 6, Green County 2

After a rough first inning, the Apollo E-gals settled in and took down Green County 6-2 in their first game of this weekend’s Owensboro Catholic Classic at Jack C. Fisher Park.
The E-gals gave up two runs in the top of the first but tied it up in the second and added one in the fourth and three in the fifth to grab the victory.
Emmie Bullington had the win for Apollo as she struck out three and allowed nine hits in the game.
Morgan Frizzell (2-3), Bullington (2-3) and Delainee Hayden (2-3, 2 RBIs, R, 2B) led the E-gals at the plate. Mallory Velotta added an RBI and a run in the win.
Apollo finishes the Owensboro Catholic Classic today against Greenwood and Central Hardin.
