The Daviess County Lady Panthers won their third game of the weekend when they went to Shifley Park and took down Owensboro 5-0 in a 9th District showdown.
The game was scoreless until DC struck for three in the fourth as the Lady Panthers added two more in the top of the seventh.
Raylee Roby cruised to the win in the circle as she struck out 14 and allowed just one hit on the day.
Abby Newman continued her stellar play at the plate lately with her three hits to go with a double in the win.
Jessie Daniels (2-4, HR, 2B, RBI, 2 R), Hattie Newman (2-3, RBI, 2 R) and Kelsea Roby (2-4) also had multiple hits for DC.
Kaylyn Sowders had the lone hit for the Lady Devils.
Daviess County plays today at home against South Spencer while Owensboro plays today at McLean County.
