The Apollo E-gals put in six in the first to set the tone agains the Owensboro Lady Devils as AHS cruised to the 12-2 victory in five innings.
Emmie Bullington got the win for Apollo but K’Asia Palmer, Sydney Saalwaechter and Anna Riney also saw action in the circle.
Bullington (3-3, 2 RBI, R), Mallory Velotta (2-2, 3 R) and Morgan Julian (2-3, 2 RBI, R) all had multiple hits while K’Asia Palmer went 1-3 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs.
Hannah Snell scored three times while Abbie Gore had two RBIs in the win for Apollo.
Owensboro’s Addison Hill and Sophie Moorman each had a single an a run for the Lady Devils while Morgan Turner deliver the only RBI for OHS.
Apollo plays Thursday at Union County while Owensboro Friday at home against Breckinridge County.
