Huff’s HaHa Club will return to Owensboro later this month with another evening of stand-up comedy, bringing a lineup of nationally touring and regional comedians to Brew Bridge.
The comedy show is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, July 19, at Brew Bridge, 800 W. Second St. The event is hosted by Owensboro native Laurie Huff, who has performed throughout the United States and internationally.
Huff recently completed performances in Chicago, San Diego, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, including appearances at The Comedy Store and Flappers.
“I’m happy to bring my wit and some of my famously funny friends home to Owensboro,” Huff said.
The July 19 lineup will feature nationally touring comedian Will Abeles, Nashville comedian and filmmaker Brinn Daniels, and Cincinnati-based comedian Justin Bradley, an Owensboro native.
Abeles is currently on a national tour and has twice topped the iTunes Comedy Charts with his albums “Regrets of My Father” and “The Pride of Hagerstown.” His comedy special is available on YouTube through FourbyThree Productions, and he has also gained attention through viral videos and nationally distributed appearances on LMAOF and OFTV.
Daniels performs regularly in Nashville and has appeared at venues including Zanies, Don’t Tell Comedy and Nateland Live. She also works as a producer with the Clean Comedy Collective and recently appeared on KLOVE on Demand.
Bradley, who serves as both a pastor and comedian, performs throughout the Midwest. He has been featured in the Best of the Fest Crosstown Comedy Festival and was a semifinalist in the Funniest Person Cincy competition.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased online or at the door. Organizers are offering a $5 discount with the promotional code “Local5.” Brew Bridge’s food, drinks and house-brewed beer will be available for purchase during the show.
Huff also plans to host open mic events in the coming weeks, giving local amateur and professional comedians an opportunity to perform. Organizers said standout performers may be invited to join the lineup for future Huff’s HaHa Club shows.
