The Owensboro Thoroughbreds were locked in a tight battle Saturday, but Kokomo pulled away down the stretch for a 112-102 win.
Jaiveon Eaves led Owensboro with 27 points including 14 in the fourth quarter. Darhius Nunn scored 19, Chukwuma Ogbodo had 18 and Matt Hart added 17.
The Thoroughbreds led by one point after the third quarter but were outscored 38-27 in the final period.
Owensboro travels to play the Indy Express today, then return home to face Indy again on Friday.
