A male juvenile was arrested Monday afternoon after a firearm was discharged during an argument, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The juvenile is facing two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a minor (first offense).
According to reports, DCSO deputies responded to the 5700 block of KY 144 in reference to a man with a weapon that escalated into a firearm discharge call.
“Deputies received a call that subjects had pulled up to a residence and a couple of the subjects exited the vehicle,” according to a release. “One male juvenile armed with a handgun stayed near the truck and was pointing the firearm at the two subjects that live at the residence. While both sides were arguing a gun was discharged and everyone ran.”
According to DCSO, deputies located the firearm and the spent shell casing inside the truck where the male juvenile was sitting.
The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
