The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 Office advises motorists of a road closure on KY 56 beginning today.
KY 56 will be closed at the Daviess/McLean County line for a culvert replacement. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes on Tuesday. The work will begin at 6:30 a.m.
KY 56 will reopen on Wednesday with single-lane restrictions throughout the day. Flagging operations will be on site.
Motorists traveling through this work zone are encouraged to reduce their speed and pay attention to traffic control.
