The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra’s fifty-third season, filled with both classical and contemporary favorites, begins in less than one month.

“We are celebrating the best in classical, film and popular music — these concerts are a stirring mix of adventurous projects that invigorate our minds and traditional favorites that warm our collective hearts,” said  Symphony Music Director, Troy Quinn. “Come and hear for yourself what all the buzz is about at the Symphony.”

Individuals interested in purchasing season tickets to all five concerts in the Symphony’s Subscription Series can do so now through October 26 and receive up to 25 percent off the price one would have to pay to purchase a single ticket to every concert. A new subscriber can get a ticket to all five concerts for as low as $175.

“The only way an individual can be guaranteed tickets to a specific concert this season will be by subscribing to the full season,” said Gwyn Payne, Symphony General Manager. “We are encouraging folks to buy the full season and share the tickets they can’t use with others. We also offer a tax credit for tickets that are returned to the Symphony for resale. These concerts are proving to be very popular this season.”

Benefits to season subscribers include the ability to purchase additional single tickets for any concert of the season for only $30 each. This offer is available only between October 16 – 26, 2018.

Subscribers also receive concert reminders, special offers and event invitations and can also release their seats prior to a concert and receive a tax donation receipt for that contribution.

There is no need for a subscriber to worry about misplacing or losing their tickets. They simply call the symphony office and are provided with duplicates.

If for any reason throughout the season a subscriber is unhappy with their seats, OSO will be happy to accommodate you. Call 270-684-0661, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., or email [email protected] for prompt, convenient customer service.
