Apollo High School is continuing its year-long celebration of the school’s 50th year by holding a special alumni celebration at the Oct. 5 home football game vs. Christian County.

The evening will begin with a reception for current and retired faculty and staff members in the Commons Area at 5:30 p.m. All current and former students and their families are then invited to attend the football game as an Apollo family.

Throughout the game, members of each graduating class will be recognized. There will also be a special photo booth and background set up for alumni and staff to have a commemorative picture taken.

Commemorative 50 year T-shirts are currently on sale at the AHS Spirit Store. Orders for additional designs must be placed by Friday, Sept. 28.

Principal Rick Lasley and his staff invite all alumni and Eagle family members to Apollo on Oct. 5 to celebrate this memorable occasion.

“It is an honor to celebrate this milestone in our school’s history as we welcome our former students and families back to join the celebration,” Lasley said.

Advanced registration is encouraged. If you plan to attend, please contact Lynne Ferguson by calling 270-852-7100 or [email protected].
