Multi-platinum global superstar, Bret Michaels will perform on Saturday, June 8, at Beaver Dam Amphitheater. Michaels, who rose to fame as the front man of Poison, one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands, helped define the rock n’ roll scene on the Sunset Strip. Their massive success includes selling over 30 million records worldwide and numerous hit singles. Equally as successful, Michaels’ solo career has charted its own course with multiple solo albums. His last album, Custom Built, topped the charts, reaching #1 on Billboards Hard Rock list.
Special guest Corey Smith will open the show. The fan-made man, has sold over 1 million concert tickets, 1.5 million digital singles and over 220,000 albums. Smith has amassed an unfailingly devout fan base, not only in his native Southeast region, but all around the nation, simply by telling it the way it is. He has released 10 albums—including 2011’s Top 20 release The Broken Record. Corey has written every word on every album himself and produced 9 out of 10 of the records.
Corey consistently tours, hitting around 120 dates per year and has begun releasing singles from his upcoming project, the Great Wide Underground.
As Michaels ramps up for the release of his latest single and video, “Unbroken,” (March 15), he’s putting the fans in charge — if they have the right moves that is. The Unbroken #HotRocksChallenge combines Michaels’ love of music and giving back into one epic social media competition.
