More live music is coming downtown with Bluegrass Under the Stars, when Hot Brown Smackdown and Kentucky Shine will perform at 7 p.m. July 24 on the outdoor stage of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased here. Seating will not be provided, so attendees need to bring their own chairs or blanket. Bar and concessions will be available.

Hot Brown Smackdown is a 6-piece jamgrass ensemble which hails from Louisville. The band has delighted concert/festival goers for years, combining brightly textured, hard-driving, powerful bluegrass polyphony with high-energy groove and soul.

Kentucky Shine, formed on the banks of the Ohio in Owensboro, brings their unique combination of traditional bluegrass laced with their hard-driving sounds and instrumentation.
