FA5 Week 10: Andy Brasher joins lineup full of variety

Well-known local artist Andy Brasher joins the lineup this week as Week 10 of Friday After 5 brings another wide range of entertainment. From country to gospel to rock, there’s a little something for everyone.

The music will kick of with Dakota Hayden Martin, a 17-year-old country singer/songwriter from Ohio County.

Gospel music makes another big return, with United Quartet joining The Childress Family and Living by Faith in Cannon Hall, while The Sunday Edition performs at the other end of the riverfront.

The Jimmy Church Band provides a variety of shows and entertainment performing everything from the classic sounds of Motown to Pop and Rock ‘N Roll. Local southern rock band Last Call will also bring the party on the Outlook Stage.

  • Jimmy Church, 6:30-10 p.m. at the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage
  • Last Call, 7-9 p.m. at the Romain Subaru Overlook Stage
  • Any Brasher Band, 8-11:30 p.m. at the Ruoff Mortgage Party Stage

  • Special music on the big screen at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum
  • Cornhole at the Bluegrass Museum
  • Kroger Street fair with food trucks and other area vendors

Street closure and parking: 

The City of Owensboro will close 2nd Street to traffic from Daviess Street to St. Ann Street on Friday starting at 5 p.m.

The parking structure on Daviess Street can still be accessed with a $5 fee. The parking structure on Locust Street is free for the first two hours, with a fee of up to $6 after that.
