Another night of live music is coming Aug. 19 with the next installment of The Nashville Songwriter, and this month’s event will be held in the Woodward Theatre of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each, and bar and concessions will be available during the concert.

This month’s event will feature Sydney Mack, Tiffany Goss, and Charlie Berry. The monthly series hosted by the Hall of Fame occurs the third Thursday of each month, featuring professional songwriters who have performed at the Bluebird Café in Nashville.

Each event features several Nashville-based songwriters offering the backstory on their work and sharing personal experiences that shape their songs.

Sydney Mack — Mack has given music a lifetime of dedication, from her classical music education to stints as a Music Row intern while attending Nashville’s Belmont University. On Season 14 of American Idol, Sydney was one of only 37 contestants from Nashville given a golden ticket to Los Angeles for Hollywood Week. The following year, she was voted into the NashNext Top 10. Mack has opened for country superstars such as Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge, Charlie Daniels and the legendary George Jones.

Tiffany Goss — Goss is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Montgomery, Alabama, and is known for her playful approach to writing and natural melodic sense. After moving to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry, she landed her first job in 1997 as the receptionist at Warner Brothers Records. Goss’ songs have been recorded by artists like Brooks and Dunn, Brett Young, Clay Walker, Delta Rae, and Chris Janson.

Charlie Berry — After a decade of touring, country artist Berry found himself at a crossroads when trio Mockingbird Sun parted ways in 2016. Rather than head back to his hometown of Dallas, Berry stayed in Nashville, laboring over his signature storytelling and truth-revealing style of songwriting. He discovered a knack for translating those songs to tape as a producer and multi-instrumentalist in the recording studio.
