Grammy-winning artist Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, along with special guest S.G. Goodman, are coming in concert to the Owensboro Sportscenter at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5.
Isbell launched his career as a member of the roots-rock band Drive-By Truckers. Since going solo, he’s earned acclaim for a series of albums with his group The 400 Unit, including last year’s chart-topping Reunions. The first single of the album, Be Afraid, peaked at a career-high No. 5 on the Adult Alternative Songs chart.
“Success is a very nice problem to have, but I think ‘how do I get through it and not lose what made me good in the first place?’ A lot of these songs and the overall concept of this album is how do I progress as an artist and a human being and still keep that same hunger that I had when I wasn’t quite so far along in either respect,” Isbell said about the album.
Reserved seating tickets range from $39.50 to $109.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday. They will be available online at OwensboroTickets.com, at the Owensboro Convention Center Box Office, and by phone at 270-297-9932.
