After previously unveiling a stacked initial lineup that includes the Del McCoury Band and the Punch Brothers, the remaining acts for ROMP Festival 2022 have been announced. Headliners include Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives, Leftover Salmon, Steep Canyon Rangers, Dan Tyminski Band, and The SteelDrivers. ROMP will be held June 22-25 at Yellow Creek Park.

Stuart, inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020, is a five-time Grammy-winner, platinum recording artist, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the Americana Music Association, Grand Ole Opry star, country music archivist, photographer, musician, and songwriter.

Leftover Salmon, entering their fourth decade, are the architects of what has become known as Jamgrass. Steep Canyon Rangers dove headfirst into bluegrass in its most traditional form, and have spent nearly a decade touring with Steve Martin. Dan Tyminski has 14 Grammy Awards as part of Alison Krauss and Union Station, and has garnered his own acclaim as the vocalist for Man of Constant Sorrow and as the singer for Avicii’s Hey Brother. The SteelDrivers won a Grammy in 2015 for their landmark album The Muscle Shoals Recordings.

Additional artists added to the lineup include Cole Chaney & Wolfpen Branch, Lindsay Lou, The Quebe Sisters, Hackensaw Boys, Brennen Leigh, Dark Moon Hollow, and the Theo & Brenna Band.

In the initial lineup announcement in December Rhiannon Giddens was listed as a headliner. Other artists in the initial lineup include We Banjo 3, Tommy Emmanuel, The Gibson Brothers, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, East Nash Grass, and Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road.

Produced by the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, the four-day music festival celebrates bluegrass and roots music, local artists, and healthy, farm-to-table food vendors.

“Live music energizes the mission of the Hall of Fame, and this year’s ROMP Festival lineup features some of the most innovative and exciting artists in bluegrass music today,” said Chris Joslin, Executive Director of the Hall of Fame. “ROMP has evolved into such a unique event and is one of the reasons Owensboro, KY, is considered the Bluegrass Music Capital of the World.”

Tickets are on sale now. In addition to four-day, single-day, and VIP tickets, camping passes are available. On-site tent and RV camping passes are also available. Children 12 and under are admitted free. All ticket prices will increase on March 28. Tickets are available at rompfest.com.
