Jeeps and Jamz Expo
All manner of Jeeps and rubber ducks could be found at the Convention Center over the weekend as part of the Jeeps and Jamz Expo, while a Jeep convoy took place across Owensboro Saturday. Photos from the expo can be seen here. Photos from the convoy lineup can be seen here.
Bless the Block
Bless the Block concluded a few days of fun, activities, and ministry with a block party on Friday. Photos can be seen here.
Strawberry Festival
The Cottage Farm Stand & Baking Co. held their third annual Strawberry Festival this weekend, featuring strawberry-themed food and treats in addition to a vendor fair, live music, and more. Photos can be seen here.

Nicky Hayden Memorial Ride
The fifth annual Nicky Hayden Memorial Ride took place Sunday afternoon as a way to honor the late Hayden and carry on the legacy of the pro motorcycle racer and Owensboro native. The event drew well more than 100 motorcycle and bicycle riders and many more spectators. The foundation announced two $5,000 donations at the memorial ride, with one going to Sleep in Heavenly Peace and the other going to the Breaking the Cycle mentorship program.
