Combest Pool is closing out the 2024 season with an evening dedicated to man’s best friend. The annual “Gone to the Dogs” event is set for Sunday and will include contests with prizes along with the chance to donate dog food.
The event is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. at Combest Pool (1530 McJohnson Avenue), rain or shine. Dog owners are invited to bring their canine companions for a refreshing dip in the pool. It costs $10 per dog, but owners get in free. A leash is required outside of the pool.
